The mission of Taiwo Foundation is to empower youth worldwide to effect meaningful change in their communities.
To combat the cultural norms that encourage violence such as domestic and child sex abuse, we engage youth in sports, service, education, and leadership development projects that equip them to drive social change in their communities.
Taiwo Foundation will partner with local and international organizations to
•develop youth leadership programs that address societal issues, such as sexual and domestic violence, teenage pregnancy, and gang violence;
•enable international educational opportunities by matching eligible athletes to available college scholarships;
•organize and facilitate Sports tournaments in soccer and track and field to develop and expose local talent to US college scouts; and
•provide international service learning projects that promote leadership development and inter-cultural exchange opportunities for local youth athletes and American youth leaders.
